UMLi - Model Examples

Three sets of models of the Library System used in the UMLi papers can be browsed clicking here. These are the models used to perform the metric studies comparing UMLi to UML.

Alternatively, the sets of models can be viewed and adapted using ARGOi. In this case, the files containing these models must be downloaded from the links below and extracted using gunzip and tar -xvf  (if they are in a Unix/Linux environment) or using an "unzipper", e.g., winzip, (if they are in a windows environment).

  • Standard UML models with UI. These models demonstrate how difficult can be the task of modelling UIs using the standard UML only.

  • UMLi models with UI, of course! These models may be particularly useful for designers interested on the use of UMLi for practical purposes. They provide examples of the use of the UMLi for modelling a data intensive application.
