in the context of people sharing human milk, we are calling banked milk (BMilk) the milk that we consider safe to be shared among humans.
BMilk is human milk where we can assure the following: the donors are healthy; the donated milk has tested for bacteria, diseases, drugs, and medications; and the integrity of the milk’s components during storage and transportation follows standardized freezing and thawing cycles.
We are in the business of using technology to make BMilk available worldwide.
